Atlantic Group is seeking a Principal, Treasury Operations in the Boston area to lead a four-person team and drive complex funding and liquidity execution across a multi-entity financial platform.

The role focuses on capital movements, intercompany funding, cash management, and banking operations, with collaboration across Finance, Legal, Tax, and IT. The position requires 12+ years in treasury and a strong controls mindset.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive treasury experience.
• Experience in financial services (asset management, insurance, private equity or banking).
• Deep experience with funding, liquidity management and treasury operations.
• Experience executing large, time-sensitive capital movements across multiple legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, payment operations and treasury controls.
• Experience with intercompany funding and capital calls/distributions/drawdowns.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of treasury professionals.
• Experience with banks, custodians and trustees.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex funding activities (drawdowns, capital calls, distributions, intercompany funding).
• Manage daily and near-term liquidity across multiple entities.
• Coordinate funding with Finance, Investments, Legal, Tax and Operations.
• Oversee high-value, time-sensitive payments with strong controls.
• Identify and resolve liquidity, settlement and funding issues.
• Manage relationships with banks, custodians, trustees and service providers.
• Oversee banking structures, cash positioning, and account administration.
• Support treasury activities for complex investments and institutional structures.
• Partner with Technology and Finance to enhance treasury systems and processes.
• Maintain SOX compliance and support internal audit/regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop treasury professionals.
• Establish scalable processes as the treasury platform grows.
