Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus seeks a Treasury Analytics Senior Associate to analyze liquidity, client behavior and portfolio characteristics. You will design SQL/Python solutions, support core treasury analytics and present insights to senior leaders.

You will drive segmentation work for a $1+ trillion retail deposit portfolio, partnering with finance teams to refine models and analytics frameworks. This role emphasizes independent problem solving and cross‑firm collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-time work experience in quantitatively focused roles.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and R.
• Practical knowledge in financial analysis, competitive analytics and data management.
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative, analytical or financial subject area including Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Excel use including structured process to prototype and solution analysis which is easy to follow, helping to answer complex and/or ambiguous questions.
• Working knowledge of retail banking and products.
• Excellent communication skills both written (Presentation/PowerPoint, Memo/Word) and verbal with experience in debating complex concepts with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for treasury analytics on Databricks and Snowflake.
• Analyze deposit performance across client attributes to inform segmentation and liquidity impact.
• Collaborate with finance partners to understand economic data releases and their forecasting implications.
• Build relationships across the firm, acting as an internal consultant to tackle major business challenges.
• Leverage tools and techniques to create repeatable processes for intelligence creation and reduce errors.
