Job summary

ofi North America, a unit of Olam Food Ingredients, seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst in downtown Chicago. You will manage daily treasury activities, cash forecasting, and liquidity management, collaborating with banking partners and internal teams across regions.

Onsite five days a week, you will enhance processes and tools, including AI-assisted reporting and SAP-based workflows. The role requires strong execution, attention to detail, and the ability to drive improvements in financing programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of treasury experience and hands-on cash management knowledge.
  • Experience with financing programs such as factoring, receivables securitization, or supply chain finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP; strong banks relations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily treasury activities including cash positioning, liquidity transfers, and reporting.
  • Resolve banking issues, update signatories, and manage account access and documentation.
  • Maintain bank relationships and coordinate with AP/AR/Tax/IT for cash matters.
  • Improve cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and centralization efforts across entities.
  • Support financing programs: factoring, securitization, supply chain finance, and related analyses.
  • Develop treasury processes, controls, and AI-enabled productivity tools.

Position Summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst will support daily treasury operations while helping build a more centralized, forward‑looking, and technology‑enabled treasury function. This role is based within our downtown Chicago location which serves as ofi’s NA Headquarters. Onsite presence 5 days a week is required for this role. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong execution, analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset. The successful candidate will manage recurring treasury responsibilities efficiently, resolve banking issues promptly, and contribute to improvements in cash forecasting, liquidity management, financing programs, banking services, and treasury processes.

The position will collaborate with internal teams and banking partners across the United States, Singapore, India, and other locations. The ideal candidate is someone who executes daily treasury responsibilities accurately and with minimal friction, while consistently identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, controls, and reporting. This person is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing operational work with longer‑term initiatives. They use Excel, SAP, and AI‑enabled tools effectively, communicate clearly with banks and internal stakeholders, and bring a forward‑looking perspective to cash forecasting, liquidity management, and financing programs.

Position Responsibilities
Treasury Operations and Banking
  • Execute daily treasury activities, including cash positioning, balance monitoring, liquidity transfers, payment support, and treasury reporting.
  • Resolve day‑to‑day banking issues, including Positive Pay exceptions, payment blocks, rejected transactions, account access, signatory updates, and banking documentation requirements.
  • Manage bank account administration, including account openings, closures, user access, authorization changes, and periodic reviews.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with banking partners and treasury service providers.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT, and other teams to resolve cash and payment‑related matters.
  • Maintain accurate treasury records, controls, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Cash Forecasting and Liquidity Management
  • Maintain and improve the company’s 13‑week cash flow forecast.
  • Partner with business units and finance teams to collect inputs, challenge assumptions, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Perform forecast‑to‑actual analysis and identify key cash flow variances.
  • Develop forward‑looking liquidity scenarios and provide visibility into future cash requirements and risks.
  • Support the continued centralization of the company’s liquidity pool across entities, accounts, and regions.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cash concentration, intercompany funding, short‑term liquidity, and working capital.
Financing Programs
  • Support the administration and forward‑looking management of financing programs, including:
    • Factoring
    • Receivables securitization
    • Supply chain finance
    • Other working capital programs
  • Monitor utilization, availability, pricing, eligibility, reporting requirements, and operational performance.
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations regarding future funding needs and program capacity.
  • Coordinate with banks, program administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure financing programs operate effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, expand, or optimize existing financing arrangements.
Technology and Process Improvement
  • Use advanced Excel capabilities to improve treasury models, cash forecasts, reconciliations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Extract, organize, and analyze financial and treasury data from SAP and other systems.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to improve treasury routines, documentation, analysis, and productivity.
  • Write effective AI prompts to create or enhance tools, automate repetitive activities, identify inconsistencies, and improve reporting.
  • Identify inefficient or manual processes and implement practical, scalable solutions.
  • Help standardize and centralize treasury processes while maintaining appropriate controls.
  • Document new processes and support implementation, training, and adoption.
Bank Benchmarking and New Services
  • Support the ongoing benchmarking of banks, service levels, fees, technology capabilities, and financing solutions.
  • Assist with requests for proposals, fee reviews, and evaluations of banking products and services.
  • Help implement new banking platforms, accounts, products, and treasury processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, reduce costs, strengthen controls, and increase automation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant treasury experience.
  • Experience in cash management, liquidity planning, corporate banking, or treasury operations.
  • Experience with financing programs such as factoring, receivables securitization, or supply chain finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, scenario analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system.
  • Experience working directly with banks to resolve payment, account, access, and operational issues.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

The pay for this role ranges from $80,000 - $95,000 annually and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
