Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a highly analytical Senior Accountant to join the Treasury Support function in Chicago. In this role, you will perform accounting, analysis, and reporting for treasury activities while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, and at least 7 years of accounting experience. The position offers a hybrid work model with a salary range of $83,100 to $141,300 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with treasury products.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries for treasury reporting.
• Participate in treasury-related projects and system implementations.
• Support global month-end close process, including reconciliations.
