Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Senior Trauma Clinical Data Coordinator to oversee data management for the Trauma Department. This role ensures data integrity, supports ACS certification, and coordinates with Trauma physicians and nurses on research activities.

The incumbent will handle data entry, query resolution, regulatory submissions, and collaboration with biostatistics and BI teams to maintain high-quality datasets for multi-site studies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in science or healthcare, or 4+ years of related experience with a GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Advanced/Expert knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trauma investigators, staff and regulatory specialists to ensure adherence to trauma protocols.
• Assist in data abstraction, entry and management for trauma studies and registry.
• Prepare IRB applications, amendments and safety reports; manage data queries.
• Submit required documents to clinicaltrials.gov and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Maintain accurate source records and perform chart abstraction for multi-site studies.
• Help with REDCap design and data integrity; assist with statistical preparation.
