Overview

We are seeking an experienced civil engineering Designer to join our Transportation – Traffic team in Tampa, FL. The Traffic Engineering Designer will support Senior Engineers in transportation project planning and design.

Requirements

• 15+ years of civil engineering experience
• High School diploma or State Equivalency; Technical Certification, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and policies
• Experience with transportation project design and contract documentation, familiarity with FDOT and other agencies
• 3D design experience is a plus
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Multitasking abilities
