Job summary

RXO is seeking a Senior Transportation Supervisor for Dedicated Transportation. You will lead change initiatives, oversee driver scheduling, and collaborate with internal teams to implement transportation solutions across North America.

The role offers competitive pay and potential bonus/commission. You will support recruitment, safety programs, and client issue resolution while driving cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Experience in 2+ of: supply chain management, transportation, or distribution.
• Fleet management and leading teams of drivers.
• Experience with DOT Rules.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal departments to support transportation operation implementations.
• Oversee change management initiatives and provide post-implementation support.
• Define business problems, identify solutions, and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Assist with driver hiring, interviewing, road testing, processing, and training.
• Own driver scheduling and engagement initiatives.
• Manage transportation network design and SOPs; provide customer support.
• Manage operational expenses within budget (labor, maintenance, fuel).
• Oversee driver safety program with safety team.
• Address internal and external client issues promptly.

Compensation for this role is $75,000- $80,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Senior Transportation Supervisor in Dedicated Transportation at RXO, you will act as a change agent for the team. You'll help ensure that important organizational initiatives and solutions are successfully implemented, maintained, and improved when needed. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Work with internal departments in support of transportation operation implementations in a team environment
• Oversee and lead change management initiatives and provide continuing post-implementation support
• Define business problems, identify solutions, and provide analysis and recommendations
• Alongside recruiting, support driver hiring to include interviewing, road testing, processing, and training
• Ownership of driver scheduling, engagement activities, safety training and initiatives
• Provide customer support management of transportation network design and operational SOP's
• Management of operational expenses within planned budget to include labor, maintenance plans, fuel purchases
• With support of safety team, oversee the driver safety program
• Ensure that both internal and external client issues are addressed in a timely manner

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 3 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry
• Experience in 2 or more of the following disciplines: supply chain management, transportation, or distribution
• Fleet Management, leading teams of drivers, safety leadership, DOT Rules
• Experience with Microsoft Office, TMW, Omnitracs One, Lytx Cameras

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent planning, client support, communication, and organizational skills
