Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Sr. Transportation Consulting Manager to join our team remotely in the US. You will lead transportation sourcing, network optimization, technology initiatives, and operational improvements, delivering measurable value for clients.

You will guide engagements from conception through execution, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive data-driven decisions that improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years leading transportation sourcing projects and/or Transportation Management System implementations.
• 7+ years applying optimization and simulation techniques to transportation and supply chain challenges.
• 7+ years using Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and client presentations.
• 7+ years applying quantitative methods and analytical tools to transportation decision-making.
• 5+ years using data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• 3+ years leading or managing junior staff members.
• Willingness and ability to travel 20%–40% based on project requirements and client demand.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver transportation consulting engagements for clients.
• Drive transportation sourcing, network optimization, and technology initiatives.
• Serve as the primary client contact and develop executive-level deliverables.
• Interface with clients to obtain data and insights and manage project progress.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior consultants and analysts.
• Travel up to 40% based on project needs.
