Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• At least six months of experience as a work leader or supervisor.
• Eligibility often limited to current TSA employees; review the vacancy announcement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Coordinate screening operations and staffing at assigned checkpoint(s).
• Make security-based decisions and provide coaching and feedback.
• Prepare briefings and reports and coordinate with airport stakeholders and TSA leadership.
