Qualifications

• Requires bachelor degree in engineering or construction management and 6 years field engineering experience.
• Alternatively, an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology with 12 years field engineering.
• Experience includes large project oversight and management of staff and budgets.
• Class D License.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for permits with landowners, utilities, developers, cities, and counties.
• Review permit applications and regulations to approve or deny requests.
• Conduct field reviews of State/County projects for standards and compliance.
• Review project final paperwork for DOT procedures.
• Manage district staffing and design tracking data; create project folders in TEAMS.
• Lead small construction projects as project manager when needed.
