Job summary

CDM Smith, a leader in transportation design, is hiring in South Carolina for an experienced seller-doer, BD-oriented Project Manager to join the Transportation group. The role can be based in any SC office, with flexible and hybrid work options.

You will lead SC transportation projects, build client relationships, and pursue new business with SCDOT and municipalities. 10+ years of experience and a PM/BD mindset are essential, along with the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years related experience.
• PMI CCM DBIA certification within 12 months or promote to Approved Project Manager list.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage SC Transportation projects including bicycle/pedestrian, traffic, planning, and roadways.
• Arrange, facilitate and prepare for client meetings with major clients.
• Develop new business and manage relationships with SCDOT and municipal clients.
• Coordinate with design and construction contracts and specs.
• Monitor budget, scope, and schedule for assigned tasks and projects.
• Implement quality procedures at project and task levels.
• Engage in professional societies relevant to clients.
