Job summary

Consor seeks a Senior Resident Engineer / Group Leader to deliver technical, operational, and leadership oversight for a growing Arizona Construction Management practice. Lead complex transportation construction projects while driving QA/QC, staff growth, and lasting client relationships.

You will guide project delivery, QA processes, and team development, contributing to business development, SOQs, and proposals. Occasional travel and field assignments are expected as the practice expands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in transportation engineering and/or construction management.
• Proven experience leading complex transportation projects for public agencies.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and team leadership.
• Experience with proposal development, SOQs, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
• PE license in Arizona or ability to obtain reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand CONSOR’s capabilities in administration of complex transportation construction projects, primarily QA consulting.
• Provide leadership across Arizona with assignments that may require travel and temporary relocations.
• Support business development—opportunity pursuit strategies, client relationships, and interview participation.
• Contribute to statements of qualifications, proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop Resident Engineers, inspectors, and field staff.
