Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive civil engineering experience focused on municipal roadway/public works projects.
• California Civil Engineer license or ability to obtain registration within 12 months of hire.
• Experience delivering small to midsize municipal roadway projects and coordinating complete design packages.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads/OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design tasks and small to midsize projects for municipal roadways and related public works.
• Own and coordinate complete PS&E packages, memos, reports, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Integrate roadway, drainage, utilities, traffic, and environmental inputs into practical designs.
• Collaborate with public agencies, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and quality; mentor junior engineers.
• Provide support during bidding and construction phases.
