Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex roadway and transportation programs in Austin, Round Rock, or Dallas.

This role oversees multiple projects, maintains client relationships, and ensures successful delivery of major contracts and programs. Ideal candidates bring 12–18 years of roadways/transportation PM experience, PE licensure, and strong leadership with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 12-18 years of progressive experience in roadway and transportation project management.
• Proven record managing large DOT or municipal transportation projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multi-office, multi-discipline project teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple roadway projects or large, complex assignments.
• Serve as the primary client contact for major contracts and key accounts.
• Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and quality control across multiple teams.
• Develop and implement project management best practices within the Road Group.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers.
• Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing, interviews, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with Group Leaders and executives on strategic pursuits and workload planning.
• Monitor financial performance and profitability across assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and other applicable standards.
• Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Participate in staff performance reviews and contribute to team development.
