Alta Planning + Design seeks a Planning Associate II (Project Manager) for our Denver office. This senior-level role focuses on active transportation and multimodal planning, with responsibilities spanning client relations, budgets, schedules, and community engagement across Colorado and the Mountain West.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to Alta’s growth goals while advancing social justice, safety, and environmental resilience through thoughtful

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field.
• 10+ years in a consulting environment or public entity; 3+ years as a project manager.
• Experience in active, non-motorized transportation.
• Strong understanding of planning processes and PM principles.
• Ability to travel for project meetings across Colorado and Mountain West.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Workspace; GIS tools.
