Job summary

Garver, LLC seeks a Transportation Planning Team Leader to join our growing Transportation Team in Oklahoma. The role will lead transportation planning and project development studies, drive public and stakeholder engagement, and support Garver's planning practice across Oklahoma and the surrounding region.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with business development and client relationship skills to expand Garver's presence in transportation planning while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in planning, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading transportation planning, corridor, feasibility, or project development studies.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning and NEPA processes.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement and public involvement.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to growth.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Project management experience including scope development, fee estimation, contract administration, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation planning, feasibility, and corridor studies from initiation to completion.
• Win opportunities through client engagement, proposals, interviews, and industry involvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation agencies, municipalities, and MPOs.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
