DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Transportation General Manager II to lead the daily transportation functions at the site level and drive weekly, monthly, and annual performance. You will focus on customer needs, labor management, freight optimization, and development of staff while aligning with client goals.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, budget development, and ensuring safe, productive operations. A strong background in logistics and supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years logistics industry experience.
• 5-7 years experience in supervisory/management role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer/vendor contract requirements are administered and enforced.
• Maximize site inventory management performance and proper custody/control.
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment.
• Implement performance reviews and development plans.
• Operate according to site SOPs and routines.
• Communicate and enforce company policies.
• Lead turnover management among staff.
• Ensure tools access and maintenance for staff.
• Oversee workshop action plans and best practices.
• Develop/achieve site budgets, revenue, and profit; review with client.
• Follow Customer Billing SOP and train associates on invoicing.
• Develop annual operating plan and goals with client.
• Monitor service levels and satisfaction; report metrics.
• Lead workload planning and volume forecasting.
