Job summary

Blommer Chocolate Company seeks an experienced Transportation Leader to supervise daily operations, optimize carrier selections, and drive cost efficiencies across NA logistics. The role partners with Customer Experience & Logistics to support strategic initiatives and ensure world-class service to Blommer customers.

The position requires 10 years in transportation, strong TAC knowledge, and proficiency with SAP/TMS, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in transportation/procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of North American transportation practices, procedures and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation operations and direct staff to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Review carrier bids, approve selections, and support rate negotiations to reduce costs.
• Lead resolution of transportation issues including delays and escalations.
• Manage carrier relationships, contracts, performance metrics, and KPI reporting.
• Oversee data in SAP and transport-related master data accuracy; support RFPs.
• Provide leadership and training to logistics personnel for continuous improvement.
