Job summary

Yami is seeking a Transportation Analyst to drive cost-effective transportation across the distribution network, including Cross Dock, Transship, and DC operations. You will own first-mile and middle-mile processes, manage carriers, and implement cost controls to improve network performance.

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Tech teams to leverage data, build dashboards, and deliver high-quality transportation outcomes across global and domestic lanes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field with 2+ years in transportation ops.
• Strong understanding of transportation network design and cost control.
• Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization in shipping/logistics.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, Tech).
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), SQL, and Tableau for reporting.
• Experience managing vendor/carrier relationships and negotiating rates.
• Analytical, data-driven problem solving with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define workflows for transfer, consolidation, and deconsolidation between nodes.
• Manage cargo flow across Cross Dock, Transship, and DC operations.
• Drive process improvements and automation to boost throughput.
• Provide onsite facility support for real-time issue resolution.
• Own end-to-end first-mile processes including vendor sourcing and customs docs.
• Own linehaul ops across regions, optimize contracts and costs.
• Build dashboards and monitor KPIs using Excel, SQL, Tableau.
• Prepare reports and present insights to leadership.
