Leading national law firm in Houston seeks a Senior Transportation Litigation Attorney to handle sophisticated transport, logistics, and commercial disputes for major national and international clients. The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and significant responsibility on high-profile matters.

The successful candidate will manage cases end-to-end, conduct regulatory research, draft pleadings, and defend depositions, with collaboration across multiple offices.

Competenze

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Admission to practice in Texas is required.
• Approximately 8+ years of litigation experience.
• First or second chair trial experience strongly preferred.
• Trial experience is required.
• Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and case management.
• Transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and gig-economy legal issues is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and interact directly with clients.

Mansioni

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis relating to transportation law, regulatory issues, and casualty litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
• Attend and defend depositions, court hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and assist with trial preparation and trial work.
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients.
• Prepare case assessments and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice groups on complex matters.
