Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Highway/Roadway Engineer based in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on mid- to large-sized projects.
• Provide technical input for studies and design in your area of expertise.
• Approve and review work, ensuring quality standards.
• Present complex solutions to clients.
• Develop technical proposals and estimates.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license; ability to obtain California PE within 12 months.
• Experience in highway/roadway design, especially with Caltrans projects.
• Proficiency in Microstation, InRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible technical leadership.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to proposals and marketing.

Additional Information

Salary range: $137,505 - $254,385, based on location and experience.
