Job Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and review complex Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) for project development, coordinating with various agencies to ensure compliance and quality.
  2. Develop, implement, and oversee quality control and assurance processes for PIDs.
  3. Prepare, review, and present plans, designs, and reports to meet project schedules, including writing reports and developing estimates.
  4. Represent the district in meetings with agencies, officials, and the public.
  5. Attend training to stay current with policies, technology, and methods.
  6. Perform other PID-related duties as needed.
Working Conditions:

The position is based at 464 W 4th St., San Bernardino, with potential for telework. Employees may be required to work in-office four days a week starting July 1, 2025, and may need to travel for business. A valid driver’s license is required.

Minimum Requirements:

Possession of a valid California Civil Engineer registration is required. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is also required, detailing experience in agency communication, project development, report evaluation, and conflict resolution.
