Hardesty & Hanover in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead the transportation practice from its Tampa office. You will coordinate proposals, client visits, and presentations while guiding project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee multi‑discipline design teams, and ensure high‑quality engineering documents across planning through delivery, with strong FDOT/Turnpike policy knowledge.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited four‑year college.
• Florida Professional Engineer Registration.
• Minimum of ten years’ experience.
• Proficiency in Open Roads processes.
• Knowledge of FDOT Design Manual, plans production criteria and design standards.
• Knowledge of other transportation disciplines and their relationship to roadway design.
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to train and mentor entry-level staff.

Senior Transportation Engineer/ Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager with 10+ years of professional experience to be an integral part of H&H’s transportation team. This position will support our engineering team in our Tampa office, primarily serving FDOT’s Districts 1, 7 and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, Pinellas County, Manatee County and Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority. In this position, you will help grow H&H’s relationship with these clients, coordinate with subconsultants and will be responsible for assisting with marketing efforts such as: project identification, client visits, proposals, and presentations. A strong background in Florida with these agencies’ design policies and procedures is preferred.
