Base pay range

$133,248.00/yr - $166,776.00/yr

About the Position:

Under the general direction of a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the Senior Transportation Engineer will serve as a liaison between HQ Division of Design and the Central Region Services (CRS) Division. The role involves providing guidance to CRS staff and consultants in applying flexible design concepts, preparing and modifying technical documents such as geometric drawings, design exception fact sheets, freeway agreements, policy exception requests, and other delegated/non-delegated design decision documents. The position also includes reviewing project reports, design exceptions, cost estimates, geometric designs, work plan estimates, and assisting in technical training. Registration as a Professional Engineer is required.
