Job summary

Humboldt Senior Resource Center is seeking a full-time driver for the Arcata region to transport program participants to and from homes and appointments. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate agency transportation vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Safely assist participants in and out of vehicles and wheelchairs.
• Secure wheelchairs and store ambulatory devices properly.
• Report incidents and maintenance needs to Transportation Manager.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and pre-/post-trip documentation.
• Utilize routing software and participate in safety trainings.
