Job summary

Active Day is hiring Drivers for its Adult Day Center in Lowell, MA. You will operate mobility buses, assist members door-to-door in all weather, and ensure safe transport to and from our centers. Training is provided and flexibility is valued for full-time, part-time, and per-diem roles.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Prior driver experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with on/off-boarding.

Responsibilities

• Drive mobility buses and provide safe, courteous transport to members.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist members with on/off-boarding and during transport.
• Maintain trip records and vehicle information.
• Communicate professionally with members, families and staff.
• Identify and report safety or maintenance concerns.
