Job summary

AECOM in North Carolina seeks a Senior Transportation Design Manager to lead delivery of transportation infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relations, and shape project scopes and strategies to drive growth in the state's transportation market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in transportation infrastructure design and project delivery, including 2 years in leadership; NC PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of NC transportation projects on scope, schedule and budget.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams across development and implementation.
• Act as Project Manager or Task Leader, coordinating resources and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with transportation agencies and municipal clients for ongoing work.
• Support business development and pursuit activities in transportation markets.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations and interview activities.
