Job summary

Pennoni in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead our Transportation team on a full-time basis, based at our office in Philadelphia, PA. You will guide projects, mentor engineers, and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will develop project schedules and cost budgets, analyze financial data, and monitor costs with project accounting to ensure profitability while upholding company policies and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least 12 years of professional Civil Engineering experience (preferably Transportation Design).
• Active P.E. license in PA; able to obtain within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Engineers & technical staff.
• Lead / manage complex engineering tasks and projects.
• Demonstrate mastery of project management skills and use of PM advanced techniques to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Deliver scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability of all projects managed.
• Develop project schedules and cost budgets; analyze financial data.
