Job summary

WSB is seeking a Professional Engineer with a Transportation Design background to join our Oklahoma City team. You will lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for public and private clients, collaborating with other groups to deliver top-quality results.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, 4–10 years in transportation or municipal engineering, an OK PE license (or ability to obtain within six months), and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school
• 4–10 years of transportation/municipal engineering experience
• OK PE license or ability to obtain within six months
• Ability to read/understand construction plans and technical docs; familiarity with design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D / MicroStation; HydroCAD)
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
• Ability to work in posted locations and office environment with occasional field support

Responsibilities

• Lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for public/private clients
• Collaborate with other groups/disciplines to deliver top-quality projects
• Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation
• Prepare, write, and edit technical reports, feasibility studies, memos, and specifications
• Assist with proposals, budgets, schedules, and public involvement activities
• Oversee EITs or Technicians
• Coordinate project activities to meet time and budget constraints
• Maintain client communications and project scheduling
