Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer - CE III to join our Middleton, Wisconsin team. You will contribute to the design and delivery of highways, interchanges, and multimodal corridors across Wisconsin and the Midwest, developing 3D design models and performing engineering calculations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of transportation engineering experience.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and roadway design practices.
Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery.

Responsibilities

Design highways, interchanges, and multimodal projects.
Develop 3D roadway models using Civil 3D.
Prepare design plans, specifications, reports, and technical memoranda.
Coordinate with WisDOT, municipalities, and other public agencies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers and staff.
Manage assigned tasks to meet budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
