Job summary

VHB is seeking a Senior Transportation Data Analyst to join the Technology Enablement Team in NYC or New Jersey. You will work with engineers, scientists, planners, designers, and technologists to analyze data, build predictive models, and develop dashboards supporting mobility and community outcomes.

The role emphasizes large-scale data processing, advanced analytics, and collaboration with government and private sector clients to improve transportation systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience with advanced analytics in engineering/transportation serving DOTs, agencies or governments.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, CS, Statistics or Math.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage in big data projects across VHB services for diverse clients.
• Mine and analyze complex structured/unstructured data using advanced statistical methods.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and websites supporting large databases and complex queries.
