Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. seeks a Senior Superintendent for its Transportation Division in Virginia Beach, VA. This senior leadership role focuses on planning and delivering residential high-rise projects with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will supervise field personnel, coordinate subcontractors, and drive construction plans and schedules, while maintaining strong cost control and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction supervision or management.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Relocation may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement construction means/methods for residential high-rise projects, schedules, productivity innovations, and site logistics.
• Select field site personnel and monitor project costs and productivity.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment on-site and develop the project construction plan.
• Supervise, train and mentor field personnel; ensure Walsh Safety and Quality programs.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and manage project close-out, inspections, deficiencies, and warranty work.
