Job summary

The City of Bowie is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver II to transport senior citizens within about a 30-mile radius of Bowie. You will operate a range of vehicles from a passenger van to a sixteen-passenger bus, ensuring safe, timely pickups and drop-offs for medical appointments, senior centers, and local destinations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, a valid CDL with P endorsement, a current DOT certificate, and CPR preferred (to be obtained within three months).

Responsibilities

• Drive city vehicles safely, picking up and discharging passengers at predefined locations.
• Operate mobile device and schedule/routes app for passenger information.
