Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is hiring a Part-Time Driver Transportation Specialist for our Continuing Care Retirement Community. Commercial license is preferred, not required. Hours typically 8:00am-2:00pm, with some evenings/weekends and up to 29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas CDL for transporting passengers preferred.
• Experience working with elderly in activities or care is preferred.
• Ability to read maps / use GPS and navigate Dallas area.
• Ability to communicate with residents with care and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Drive van or bus to deliver and pick-up residents to and from appointments around the city.
• Complete errands as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle safety and daily condition checks.
• Assist with activity programs and front office support when not driving.
• Notify supervisor of scheduling or vehicle issues.
