Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Siting, Outreach, Right-of-Way, and Environmental Lead to provide strategic leadership for a large-scale transmission program in the eastern United States.

The role combines siting, outreach, land services, and environmental permitting to deliver complex projects from development through construction, with the preferred locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, or Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, natural resources, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience supporting major infrastructure programs, preferably electrical transmission, utility, energy, or linear infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
• Experience overseeing transmission siting, stakeholder engagement, ROW acquisition, and environmental permitting/compliance.
• Experience with utility clients and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for siting, outreach, ROW, and environmental functions for a large transmission portfolio.
• Lead cross-discipline integration for end-to-end project delivery.
• Maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion.
• Oversee quality control of reports, permitting packages, and regulatory submissions.
• Travel regularly to client offices, sites, and industry events.
