Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as an Automotive Transmission Rebuilder.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate solutions to others.
- ASE certifications a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair automotive transmission systems.
- Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Remove and reinstall transmission systems.
- Assist other technicians in technical activities.
- Learn new technical information and techniques.
- Keep management informed of repair problems.
- Maintain an organized service department.
