Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is expanding in Nebraska and seeking a Transmission Project Manager to lead the design, procurement, and construction support for new and upgraded transmission lines.

The role requires a BS/MS in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of project engineering experience and 2+ years in project management; a PE license and PMP certification are preferred. The PM will coordinate with diverse groups, manage schedules and budgets, and interface with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Civil Engineering; 10+ years of project engineering experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and planning.
• PE license and PMP certification preferred.
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of transmission lines.
• Material procurement and construction support through line energization.
• Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing and reporting on transmission projects.
• Oversee project teams of engineers, designers, drafters and staff.
• Coordinate with Substation, Transmission, Civil, Environmental and other groups to ensure delivery.
• Mentor and train project team members; interface with clients and stakeholders.
