Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to oversee high voltage electric design projects and manage a team of skilled professionals. The position involves extensive client relations, performance management, and proposal development, within a hybrid work environment that encourages career growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and expertise in PLS-CADD, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in high voltage electric utility transmission systems design.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple design teams on various projects.
• Create responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Supervise staff, approving timesheets and performance reviews.
• Promote continuous improvement in processes.
