Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to manage design projects for electric transmission systems. This role involves directing engineering teams, communicating with clients, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with eight plus years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification.
• Outstanding communication skills to serve as primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and provide direction for engineering analyses and design.
• Communicate clear expectations and manage performance of direct reports.
• Create responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for new work.
