Wade Trim is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure across the Midwest and Northeast. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of transmission design experience are required, with proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil3D, PLS CADD, LPILE, and MFAD.

Hybrid or remote work is available after 30 days. You will lead design work, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, and mentor junior staff while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of transmission system design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil3D, PLS CADD, LPILE, MFAD.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Hybrid or remote work after 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of overhead and underground transmission systems (69kV–765kV).
• Prepare drawings and design packages (plan/profile, one-lines, structure loading, foundations).
• Perform engineering calculations and studies (foundational, guying, conductor sizing, sag/tension).
• Ensure QA/QC and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
