Qualifications

• 10+ years of transmission line engineering experience, with 15-20+ preferred.
• Strong background in transmission and sub-transmission line design.
• Ability to evaluate technical issues and guide design decisions.
• Experience developing or applying engineering standards is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work onsite with client teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level engineering expertise for transmission line design.
• Review and interpret engineering standards and design requirements.
• Serve as a technical resource for complex design questions.
• Work onsite with the client as an embedded engineering partner.
• Develop recommendations to support consistent engineering practices.
• Collaborate with utility stakeholders to improve standards and processes.
• Support development and implementation of design standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams.
