Gabriella & Co. is partnering with a top-ranked US engineering firm to hire five Senior Transmission Line Engineers across national offices. The role focuses on 345kV–765kV rebuilds, greenfield work, and grid modernization, with potential HVDC programs. Requires strong leadership and mentorship, with office presence initially.

The candidate should have extensive experience in overhead transmission line design, 3D structural analysis, and NESC/IEEE standards. Travel and relocation may be involved.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of overhead transmission line engineering experience.
• PLS-CADD expertise (required) with experience in design and standards.
• Knowledge of 69kV through 500kV+ transmission system design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of NESC and ASCE/IEEE standards.
• Engineering consulting or EPC-firm experience preferred over utility-only backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver overhead transmission line engineering as a senior technical specialist with minimal supervision.
• Support 345kV–765kV rebuild and greenfield projects, including potential HVDC programs.
• Perform structural design of steel transmission structures and foundations using 3D analysis software.
• Apply PLS-CADD throughout line design; PLS-POLE experience is an advantage.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.

SENIOR TRANSMISSION LINE ENGINEER – 5 OPENINGS

Full-time | Onsite for 90 days, then hybrid (3 days/week)

Gabriella & Co. is partnering with a top-ranked, employee-owned US engineering firm to hire five Senior Transmission Line Engineers across its national offices. The firm is scaling its overhead line practice to support 345kV–765kV rebuild, greenfield and grid modernization programs, including potential HVDC work.

This role is for an experienced engineer who works with minimal supervision, solves difficult structural and line-design problems, maintains technical standards and mentors junior and mid-level engineers.

What you'll do

What you bring

• Engineering consulting or EPC-firm experience strongly preferred over utility-only backgrounds

Preferred: PE license in any US state; HVDC, 765kV or large-scale rebuild/greenfield program experience; advanced structural analysis and responsibility for design standards or technical reviews.
