Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Transmission Engineering Lead (PE) to provide technical leadership from planning through commissioning on electric utility transmission projects. You will oversee design, cost estimates, and schedules while mentoring engineers and maintaining client relationships.

The role requires a PE license, ABET‑accredited degree, and 10+ years in transmission engineering, with leadership experience and strong communication to navigate regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Required: BS in Electrical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), PE license; 10+ years in electric utility transmission design/engineering.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership with direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of tower, pole, and underground transmission design; familiarity with NESC/IEEE/ANSI/RUS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, project oversight, and client engagement for transmission projects.
• Lead planning, design, and construction oversight from concept to commissioning.
• Mentor engineers, ensure safety/quality, and manage budgets/schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet regulatory and project requirements.
