Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Senior Construction Representative, Transmission in New Hampshire to manage contractor activities on medium to high-complexity transmission projects. The role requires overseeing field construction, enforcing safety and environmental standards, and coordinating with project teams for schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, at least eight years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of related construction experience is required.
• Construction experience in Transmission Systems preferred.
• Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License is required.
• Must obtain and maintain switching and tagging certification.
• OSHA Training.
• Knowledge of energy delivery power systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contractor activities in accordance to project plans and specifications.
• Observe and inspect construction contractors to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, state/local siting conditions, contract documents, environmental regulations, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to construction site.
• Attend, participate, and may lead scheduled project meetings.
• Provide guidance and construction management knowledge to construction services staff.
• Oversee and coordinate contractor activities and project safety compliance.
