Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Transit Planning Project Manager to join our North Carolina team. The role covers planning, directing, and coordinating multidisciplinary projects with complex technical requirements across Raleigh and other NC offices.

Ideal candidates bring PMP or AICP certification, heavy exposure to transit and mobility projects, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate multidisciplinary projects with high technical complexity.
• Lead multiple projects concurrently and manage client relations.
• Participate in proposal development and marketing activities as appropriate.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and perform detailed reviews of transportation projects.
• Track finances and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate staffing and workload across project lifecycle.
