Job summary

MTM Transit in Lake Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Manager, Fleet Maintenance to lead the daily maintenance of our transit and paratransit fleets. You will supervise maintenance staff, plan workloads, and ensure vehicles operate safely and reliably.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure documentation, inspections, and regulatory compliance are up to date. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of automotive, fleet, diesel, or transportation maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA, and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fleet maintenance operations and guide maintenance personnel.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize vehicle reliability.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.
• Maintain vehicle tracking systems and fleet maintenance records; review DVIRs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and client standards.
