Job summary

University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK is seeking a bus driver to provide service around the campus and surrounding areas, with potential trips to Oklahoma City. The role requires a valid CDL and DOT medical certification, plus a flexible schedule that includes some Saturdays.

Pay is up to $18.00 hourly based on experience, with benefits eligible. Previous experience driving heavy transit vehicles is preferred; training may be provided to meet license requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience driving heavy transit vehicles, performing delivery services, or closely related service.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
• Class B CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain with department's assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide bus service around the University of Oklahoma, Norman, and possible trips to OKC.
• Work schedule includes hours Mon-Fri 7:00am–11:30pm and some Saturdays.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licenses:
