Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a seasoned Quality professional to own transformer quality end-to-end at our Houston factory. You will build and run the ISO 9001 quality system, perform IQC, IPQC, FAT, and OQC inspections, and lead supplier quality activities, audits, and SCAR closures.

You will manage a team of quality technicians, drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, and track KPIs like FPY. This in-office role is based in Houston with on-site requirements and periodic collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the Transformer Industry.
• Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes and material specs.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own transformer quality end-to-end and manage IQC/IPQC/FAT/OQC inspections.
• Lead plant quality technicians and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements.
• Manage supplier quality, audits, SCARs, and NCR/FAI documentation.
• Represent quality during FAT witnessing and on-site audits.
