Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a seasoned program management professional to join Business Transformation Services. You will drive end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, regulatory changes and integrations with cross-functional teams, maintaining governance, budgets and risk oversight.

The role requires strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to lead multiple workstreams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required; advanced degrees a plus.
• At least 10 years in project management, product management or technology.
• Experience in financial services, Wealth Management, FinTech, or management consulting.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage delivery and execution of diverse tasks.
• Proven ability to coordinate with business, technology, operations and control partners.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with no direct reporting line.
• Strong written and verbal communications and polished PowerPoint skills.
• Independent self-starter with ability to handle aggressive deadlines.
• Experience with major organizational change programs and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support for strategic initiatives, regulatory change, or integrations.
• Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver programs on scope and budget.
• Create governance structures for complex programs with multiple partners.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps with business partners.
• Manage dependencies with legal, risk and compliance units.
• Provide transparent progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Document requirements, changes in scope, and maintain audit trails.
• Monitor remediation of risks and escalate items affecting delivery or scope.
• Track project costs and resource allocations to optimize investment.
• Ensure consistent governance reporting outside direct control.
• Lead project managers and consultants to deliver firm priorities.
