Job summary

AbbVie in South San Francisco is seeking an Associate Director of Transformation to drive strategic initiatives, including AI-driven programs, across the enterprise. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years with Bachelor's; 3+ with Masters; 2+ with PhD in fast-paced settings such as management consulting, pharmaceutical R&D, and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with AI applications at enterprise scale.
• Experience managing large projects within a complex matrixed organization as a consultant to a pharmaceutical organization, either external or internal.
• Ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership teams to drive better business outcomes.
• Proven facilitative leadership skills in a cross-functional global team environment with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Hybrid work model requiring three onsite days per week (Tue–Thu).

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation workstreams across AI-driven and non-AI initiatives across the enterprise.
• Lead modules within complex initiatives, researching with stakeholders and distilling insights for data-backed solutions in product development, manufacturing, and strategy.
• Prepare executive-level communications and present recommendations to AbbVie leadership.
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and agility within AbbVie.
